Here’s how to connect to Apple CarPlay® via a wired connection or wirelessly:


  1. Turn your Honda on or put it into accessory mode while you’re in park.
  2. Press the home button.
  3. Select “Smartphone Connection.”
  4. Choose “Connect New Device.” and ensure you have the Apple CarPlay® option selected.
  5. Follow the prompts on your iPhone and Honda infotainment system.
  6. If done successfully, you can select the Apple CarPlay® icon in your Honda infotainment system and begin using it.

  2. Connect the USB cable from your iPhone to the USB port in your Honda. It should be the USB port with the 3-pronged icon.
